Learning Manual ModeStudents are learning how to produce images that they fully control by manipulating their DSLR cameras. For the last two weeks, we have been learning about aperture and shutter speed. By next week, they will be fully in manual mode with their cameras! We've had a great time experimenting with depth of field and shutter speed. So I wanted to show you all some favorites from a recent activity we did in class. Students held their cameras, spun around in a circle, and took selfies. This helped them see in real time how shutter speed controls motion and movement in their photos! And the images themselves are pretty fun :) Check it out!
